Every year we attend National AfterSchool Association (NAA)'s Annual Convention, we're so inspired to see so many out-of-school time professionals across the nation come together to learn how to empower themselves, their programs, and the youth they serve.
This year, we hosted a California Happy Hour & Celebration, where we celebrated California’s Next Generation Awardees and announced the transition of our Executive Director, Ruth Obel-Jorgensen.

It's Time to Address Equity in Leadership
So, you’re ready to address issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion in your organization and in the field, but you don’t know where to start. Tapping into the Incredible Potential of Giving
Individual giving fundraising has incredible potential. It engages supporters in new andmeaningful ways, grows an organization’s reach, and provides unrestricted funding – allowing programs to determine for themselves which resources and activities are best. In this session, we’ll explore your relationship to and history with money and power to identify potential barriers to doing the work. We’ll dive into tools and resources that can help you and your team get moving with an individual giving campaign as soon as tomorrow. Fundraising is at its best when done in community with others. Find allies and learn how to build your own community of believers to support your cause!
