The Learning and Development Branch (LDB) is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player who welcomes a challenge. Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent will evaluate and analyze Department learning needs; develop contracts and proposals; develop business proposals; coordinate course schedules; manage the training budget; develop proposals; acts as a liaison; and perform other administrative work.

Desirable qualifications: experience in contract and procurement development, budgets, proposal development, and Learning Management Systems; able to analyze complex matters and isolate critical issues; able to develop effective courses of action to solve problems, bring new ideas to the table, and develop new ways of doing things for efficiency; and able to effectively communicate, both verbally in writing.

Working Conditions
